Hydrotherapy

Enhancing movement, strength and confidence through water-based therapy.

Hydrotherapy is a specialised form of therapy delivered by our Exercise Physiologists, using the therapeutic properties of warm water to support movement, strength, mobility and overall physical function. The buoyancy, warmth and natural resistance of water create a supportive environment that reduces impact on joints and encourages freedom of movement.

Our EPs provide personalised hydrotherapy sessions designed to develop strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance and gross motor skills, while supporting each child's individual needs and goals.

Hydrotherapy offers a fun and motivating environment for children and young people to build confidence, independence and functional movement skills. Sessions can also complement land-based therapy, helping children develop the physical skills needed to participate more fully in everyday life.
