Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a creative Occupational Therapist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team.
This exciting opportunity is perfect for a passionate, fun and energetic professional as we cater to a growing clientele. The position will broaden your knowledge and experience in the field of paediatric occupational therapy whilst also allowing you to work closely with our team of specialised Exercise Physiologists.

Provide therapy to clients and their care team in our new clinic at Port Adelaide as well as educational settings (eg. schools, kindergartens).
Conduct evidence-based assessments and therapy relative to the clients and caregivers therapy goals.
Develop therapy goals relative to the client’s needs and upskill caregivers and educators to help support the client in achieving these goals.
Work with a high level of autonomy, care and independence in a client and family centred manner.
Work within a fun and motivated multidisciplinary team that is dedicated to providing an enjoyable and meaningful therapy experience to all clients and families.
Display adequate emotional and communication skills when working with clients, families and other therapists.
Ability to record client notes and perform additional administrative tasks at a high level, through the use of business software.
Expected to operate with a high degree of independence, demonstrating proficiency in problem-solving and the ability to exercise initiative in real-time situations.
Able to support clients with a range of neurodiverse conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous education to elevate your skills and knowledge.

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience working with preschool and school children (desirable).
Eager to learn, develop and broaden current skillset, whilst demonstrating the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to show empathy, patience and a dedication to delivering second-to-none client care and connectedness to the Playfit mission.
Current Working with Children Check, Professional Indemnity Insurance, RRHAN-EC, First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A current driver's licence and use of own registered, insured motor vehicle for business purposes.
