Occupational Therapist
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, fun and energetic OT to join a supportive paediatric therapy team and work with a growing and diverse client base. You’ll have the opportunity to further develop your clinical skills and experience across paediatric occupational therapy, while collaborating closely with our experienced Exercise Physiologists.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy across our two purpose-designed clinic locations in Allenby Gardens and Port Adelaide, tailoring assessment and intervention to each client’s individual needs, strengths and goals.
Develop meaningful, client-centred therapy goals and work collaboratively with families, caregivers and educators to build capacity and support clients to achieve their goals across everyday environments.
Work with a high level of autonomy and clinical independence, demonstrating strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving and initiative while maintaining a compassionate, client- and family-centred approach.
Collaborate within a fun, supportive and motivated multidisciplinary team, contributing to an enjoyable, meaningful and engaging therapy experience for clients and their families.
Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, educators and other health professionals, including supporting clients with a range of neurodiverse and developmental presentations such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and complete administrative responsibilities using business and clinical software, while actively engaging in professional development and continuing education to grow your clinical skills and knowledge.

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience working with preschool and school-aged children is desirable.
A genuine willingness to learn, develop and broaden your clinical skillset, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A compassionate, patient and client-centred approach, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and contributing to the values and mission of Playfit Therapy.
Current Working with Children Check, Professional Indemnity Insurance, RRHAN-EC, and First Aid & CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive and effective relationships with clients, families, educators and other professionals.
A current driver's licence and access to a registered and insured motor vehicle for business purposes.
